Quiz Module
The Quiz Module allows for creating customizable quizzes, defining scoring methods, and automating result sharing. Unlike regular windows, the Quiz Module includes specialized settings for timed assessments, scoring, and feedback visibility.
Configuring Quiz Settings
The initial step in creating a quiz involves setting up its configurations to control how the quiz will operate. The primary configuration options include:

Release Grade: Determine when quiz results are shown to participants:
- Immediately after each submission: Respondents see results immediately.
- Later after manual review: Results are released only after manual grading.

- Missed Questions
- Correct Answers
- Point Value

Maximum Allowed Records: Specify how many times a respondent can submit responses.

Exam Start and End Datetime: Set the accessible date and time range for the quiz.

Duration: Define the time limit for the quiz in minutes.

Score Manager: Assign users or roles responsible for reviewing and scoring responses.

Default Question Point Value: Set a default score for each question, which can be customized per question.

Publish Datetime: Establish when quiz results will be made visible to participants.

Leaderboard Display: Choose the number of top-scoring participants to display (default is 5).

Share Type: Define how the quiz is shared:
- Link: Generate a unique link.
- Email: Share via email with selected participants.
- Users: Directly assign to specific users within the system.

Assign Quiz to Window: Optionally, assign the quiz to a window for enhanced tracking.

Grade Calculation: Define grading ranges with a grade name, minimum percentage, and maximum percentage. Add or delete ranges as needed for effective scoring.
Adding Questions to the Quiz
After configuring settings, you can add questions of different types to the quiz. Each question type has unique field configurations, and you can add any number of questions per quiz. Available question types include:
- Single Choice: Multiple-choice with one correct answer.
- Multiple Choice: Multiple-choice with multiple correct answers.
- Text: Short text answer.
- Paragraph: Long text answer.
- Date: Date selection.
- Datetime: Combined date and time selection.
- Time: Time selection.
- Yes/No: Binary answer format.
- Image: Upload or display an image as part of the question.
- File: File upload for responses.
- Speech/Audio: Record or upload audio answers.
- Information Block: Static information text or guidelines for the respondent.
Each question can be configured with options such as:
- Required or Optional: Mark as mandatory or optional.
- Point Value: Set individual point values for each question.
- Correct Answer Marking: Indicate correct answers for auto-scoring where applicable.
- Answer Options: Define answer options for choice-based questions.
Based on the questions added, the Total Marks for the quiz are calculated automatically, and a Pass Marks threshold can be set.
Quiz Process Flow
- Quiz Creation: Define settings, add questions, and set correct answers where applicable.
- Quiz Participation: Respondents access and complete the quiz within the designated start and end time.
- Quiz Submission and Review: Respondents submit their answers within the allotted duration.
- Examiner Review: The assigned score manager reviews answers and assigns marks. Auto-marked answers are calculated based on preset correct answers.
- Result Publication: After grading, the examiner locks responses. Results are published on the publish date, and the Leaderboard is updated.

Imagine a quiz titled "Product Knowledge Assessment" with the following settings:
- Release Grade: Immediately after each submission.
- Respondent Can See: Correct Answers and Point Value.
- Duration: 45 minutes.
- Score Manager: Product Team Lead.
- Default Question Point Value: 2.
- Leaderboard Display: Top 10.
- Share Type: Email distribution.
- Grade Levels:
- A: 90-100%
- B: 75-89%
- C: 50-74%
- D: Below 50%
The quiz includes:
- Single Choice questions about product features.
- Text responses for feedback.
- Yes/No questions on user satisfaction.
After submission, the examiner reviews each response, locks them, and publishes results. Respondents view results on the specified publish date through the result portal.
