Public Registration
The Public Registration feature allows users to register directly through a public link. This link can be generated by the system administrator with specific parameters and has an expiry date. The link will allow users to fill out a registration form and submit their details for approval.
- Link Generation: The system administrator generates a registration link with the following parameters:
- Expiry Date: Defines when the link will expire and become invalid.
- Max Registration Limit: Sets the maximum number of users that can register through this link.
- Department: The department the user will be associated with.
- Role: The role the user will have in the system.
- List of Receiver Emails: The email addresses of those who will receive the registration link.
Once the link is generated, users can access it and fill out a registration form with the following fields:
- Full Name
- Country
- Location
- Message to Admin (Optional)
- Attachment (Optional)
- Password
After completing the form, the user submits the registration request. If the registration link was sent directly via email, the user will be auto-verified. If the registration is made through the public link, it will be marked as "pending verification" until reviewed by the system administrator.
-
OTP Verification: The user will enter their email address and receive an OTP (One-Time Password). After entering the OTP, they can proceed with completing the registration form.
-
Admin Approval: Once the registration form is submitted, the system administrator will review the registration request. The admin has the authority to either accept or reject the registration, providing remarks if necessary. Upon approval, the user will be able to log in to the system and use it normally.
Important Notes
- Registrations made through the public link will be pending verification by the admin until reviewed.
- Direct mail registrations are automatically verified.
- The admin can accept or reject registration requests and provide feedback.
