Export Data to CSV/JSON Event Setup

The Export Data to CSV/JSON Event feature allows users to set up events for exporting data to CSV or JSON formats. This feature provides flexibility in selecting source tables, fields, and file extensions to customize data exports according to user needs.

This feature supports configuring events to export data either in CSV or JSON format. Users can specify details such as source tables, fields, and file extensions to control the export process.

Configuring an Export Data Event

Configure Export Data Event to CSV

To set up an "Export Data to CSV" event:

  1. Title: Enter the title for the export event.
  2. Description: Provide a description for the export event.
  3. Source Table: Select the source table configuration.
  4. Menu: Choose the menu containing the source table.
  5. Window: Select the window within the menu.
  6. Fields: Specify the fields to include in the CSV.
  7. File Extension: Set the file extension to CSV.

Steps:

  1. Alice Johnson is setting up an "Export Data to CSV" event.
  2. Enter the following details:
    • Title: Export User Data
    • Description: Exporting user data to CSV
  3. Select the source table configuration:
    • Source Table: Dynamic Table
    • Menu: Parameters And Unifications
    • Window: Third-Party Integrations
  4. Choose the fields for CSV:
    • Fields: Column
  5. Select the file extension:
    • File Extension: CSV
