System Preference - FAQs

Overview

As a user with system configuration privileges, you can manage FAQs to provide useful information to other users.

Creating a New FAQ

To create a new FAQ:

1. Log in as a user with system configuration privileges and go to the FAQs page under System Preferences.
2. Click the "Add FAQ" button.
3. Enter a question in the text editor field.
4. Enter an answer in the text editor field.
5. Click the "Save" button.
6. The new FAQ will be created and appear in the list of FAQs.
7. A confirmation message will indicate the FAQ has been added.

Editing an Existing FAQ

To edit an existing FAQ:

1. Log in as a user with system configuration privileges and go to the FAQs page under System Preferences.
2. Select the FAQ from the list.
3. Click the "Edit" button.
4. Update the question in the text editor field.
5. Update the answer in the text editor field.
6. Click the "Save" button.
7. The FAQ will be updated.
8. A confirmation message will indicate the FAQ has been updated.

Deleting an FAQ

To delete an FAQ:

1. Log in as a user with system configuration privileges and go to the FAQs page under System Preferences.
2. Select the FAQ from the list.
3. Click the "Delete" button.
4. A confirmation prompt will ask if you are sure you want to delete the FAQ.
5. Confirm the deletion.
6. The FAQ will be removed from the list.
7. A confirmation message will indicate the FAQ has been deleted.

Viewing Details of an FAQ

To view details of an FAQ:

1. Log in as a user with system configuration privileges and go to the FAQs page under System Preferences.
2. Select an FAQ from the list.
3. You will see the full question and answer of the selected FAQ.

Canceling Creating a New FAQ

To cancel creating a new FAQ:

1. Log in as a user with system configuration privileges and go to the FAQs page under System Preferences.
2. Click the "Add FAQ" button.
3. Enter a question and an answer.
4. Click the "Cancel" button.
5. The FAQ will not be created.
6. You will be redirected back to the FAQs page without changes.

Canceling Editing an FAQ

To cancel editing an FAQ:

1. Log in as a user with system configuration privileges and go to the FAQs page under System Preferences.
2. Select the FAQ from the list.
3. Click the "Edit" button.
4. Make changes to the question and answer.
5. Click the "Cancel" button.
6. The changes will not be saved.
7. The FAQ will remain unchanged.

Searching for an FAQ by Question

To search for an FAQ by question:

1. Log in as a user with system configuration privileges and go to the FAQs page under System Preferences.
2. Enter a search term in the search bar.
3. You will see a list of FAQs that match the search term.
