System Preference - Legal Docs

Overview

As a user with system configuration privileges, you can manage legal documents by uploading, viewing, and removing files.

Viewing Legal Documents

When logged in as a user with system configuration privileges and on the Legal Documents page under System Preferences:

  • You will see a list of all existing legal documents.
  • Each document will display its title and options to view or remove files.

Uploading Legal Document Files

To upload legal document files:

  1. Log in as a user with system configuration privileges and go to the Legal Documents page under System Preferences.
  2. Click the "Upload Files" button.
  3. Drag and drop or click to upload legal document files (each file up to 2MB).
  4. Click the "Upload" button.
  5. The files will be uploaded successfully.
  6. A confirmation message will indicate the files have been uploaded.
  7. The uploaded files will appear in the list of legal documents.

Removing All Uploaded Files

To remove all uploaded files:

  1. Log in as a user with system configuration privileges and go to the Legal Documents page under System Preferences.
  2. Ensure you have uploaded legal document files.
  3. Click the "Remove All" button.
  4. A confirmation prompt will ask if you are sure you want to remove all files.
  5. Confirm the removal.
  6. All uploaded files will be removed.
  7. A confirmation message will indicate the files have been removed.

Viewing Details of a Legal Document

To view details of a legal document:

  1. Log in as a user with system configuration privileges and go to the Legal Documents page under System Preferences.
  2. Select a legal document from the list.
  3. You will see the title of the selected document.
  4. A list of all files associated with the document will be displayed.
  5. Each file will have options to view or remove.

Canceling File Upload

To cancel file upload:

  1. Log in as a user with system configuration privileges and go to the Legal Documents page under System Preferences.
  2. Click the "Upload Files" button.
  3. Select files to upload.
  4. Click the "Cancel" button.
  5. The files will not be uploaded.
  6. You will be redirected back to the Legal Documents page without changes.

Canceling File Removal

To cancel file removal:

  1. Log in as a user with system configuration privileges and go to the Legal Documents page under System Preferences.
  2. Ensure you have uploaded legal document files.
  3. Click the "Remove All" button.
  4. Click the "Cancel" button on the confirmation prompt.
  5. The files will not be removed.
  6. You will remain on the Legal Documents page with the files intact.

Searching for a Legal Document by Title

To search for a legal document by title:

  1. Log in as a user with system configuration privileges and go to the Legal Documents page under System Preferences.
  2. Enter a search term in the search bar.
  3. A list of legal documents that match the search term will be displayed.

Viewing File Preview

To view a file preview:

  1. Log in as a user with system configuration privileges and go to the Legal Documents page under System Preferences.
  2. Click to view a file associated with a legal document.
  3. A preview of the file content will be displayed.
