System Preference - Privacy Policy
Overview
As a user with system configuration privileges, you can manage the privacy policy to ensure it is accurate and up to date.
Viewing Privacy Policy
When logged in as a user with system configuration privileges and on the Privacy Policy page under System Preferences:
- You will see a list of all existing privacy policies.
 - Each policy will display its name and a snippet of its description.
 
Creating a New Privacy Policy
To create a new privacy policy:
- Log in as a user with system configuration privileges and go to the Privacy Policy page under System Preferences.
 - Click the "Add Privacy Policy" button.
 - Enter a name with a maximum of 50 characters.
 - Enter a description in the text editor field.
 - Click the "Save" button.
 - The new privacy policy will be created and will appear in the list of privacy policies.
 - A confirmation message will indicate the privacy policy has been added.
 
Editing an Existing Privacy Policy
To edit an existing privacy policy:
- Log in as a user with system configuration privileges and go to the Privacy Policy page under System Preferences.
 - Select the privacy policy from the list.
 - Click the "Edit" button.
 - Update the name with a maximum of 50 characters.
 - Update the description in the text editor field.
 - Click the "Save" button.
 - The privacy policy will be updated.
 - A confirmation message will indicate the privacy policy has been updated.
 
Deleting a Privacy Policy
To delete a privacy policy:
- Log in as a user with system configuration privileges and go to the Privacy Policy page under System Preferences.
 - Select the privacy policy from the list.
 - Click the "Delete" button.
 - A confirmation prompt will ask if you are sure you want to delete the privacy policy.
 - Confirm the deletion.
 - The privacy policy will be removed from the list.
 - A confirmation message will indicate the privacy policy has been deleted.
 
Viewing Details of a Privacy Policy
To view details of a privacy policy:
- Log in as a user with system configuration privileges and go to the Privacy Policy page under System Preferences.
 - Select a privacy policy from the list.
 - You will see the full name and description of the selected privacy policy.
 
Canceling Creating a New Privacy Policy
To cancel creating a new privacy policy:
- Log in as a user with system configuration privileges and go to the Privacy Policy page under System Preferences.
 - Click the "Add Privacy Policy" button.
 - Enter a name and a description.
 - Click the "Cancel" button.
 - The privacy policy will not be created.
 - You will be redirected back to the Privacy Policy page without changes.
 
Canceling Editing a Privacy Policy
To cancel editing a privacy policy:
- Log in as a user with system configuration privileges and go to the Privacy Policy page under System Preferences.
 - Select the privacy policy from the list.
 - Click the "Edit" button.
 - Make changes to the name and description.
 - Click the "Cancel" button.
 - The changes will not be saved.
 - The privacy policy will remain unchanged.
 
Searching for a Privacy Policy by Name
To search for a privacy policy by name:
- Log in as a user with system configuration privileges and go to the Privacy Policy page under System Preferences.
 - Enter a search term in the search bar.
 - You will see a list of privacy policies that match the search term.
