Update User Events streamline the process of modifying existing user details by defining the update parameters and setting up event triggers. This feature is essential for maintaining accurate and up-to-date user records in the system.

Configuring an Update User Event

Configure Update User Event

To set up an "Update User" event:

  1. Select User: Choose the user from the dropdown list whom you want to update.
  2. Title: Enter a descriptive title for the user update event.
  3. Full Name: Provide the new full name of the user.
  4. Email: Enter the updated email address of the user.
  5. Country: Specify the updated country of the user.
  6. Department: Define the new department for the user.
  7. Role: Set the new role or job title for the user.

Steps:

  1. Alice Brown is setting up an "Update User" event.
  2. Select a user from the dropdown list.
  3. Enter the following details:
    • Title: Update Employee Details
    • Full Name: Jane Smith
    • Email: jane.smith@example.com
    • Country: Canada
    • Department: Marketing
    • Role: Manager
  4. Save the configuration.

Outcome: The selected user will be updated with the following details:

  • Full Name: Jane Smith
  • Email: jane.smith@example.com
  • Country: Canada
  • Department: Marketing
  • Role: Manager

Validate Update User Configuration

To ensure the "Update User" event is configured correctly:

  1. Action: Review the configured details.

Expected Outcome:

Verify User Update

To verify that the user was updated successfully:
