Assign system users

User Role Assignment Feature

Overview

As an organization owner, you can assign users to systems with specific roles. This can be done within a single system or across multiple systems. The following documentation provides details on how to manage user roles through the System Management page.

Assigning Users Within a Single System

When logged in as an organization owner and on the System Management page, you can assign users to roles within a specific system. To do this:

  1. Click on "Assign System User" for the desired system.
  2. You will see a list of users and their current roles.
  3. Drag a user up or down to adjust their role within the same system.
  4. The user's role will be updated accordingly.

Assigning Users Across Multiple Systems

To assign a user to a role in a different system:

  1. Ensure you are logged in as an organization owner and are on the System Management page.
  2. Click on "Assign System User" for the system where you want to make changes.
  3. A list of users and their current roles will be displayed.
  4. Drag the user left, right, up, or down to assign them to a new role in the target system.
  5. The user's role will be updated in the selected system.

Assigning Users to New Roles

Within the Same System

To assign a user to a new role within the same system:

  1. Log in as an organization owner and navigate to the System Management page.
  2. Click on "Assign System User" for the relevant system.
  3. Drag the user to the desired new role within the same system.
  4. The user's role will be updated to reflect the new role.

Across Different Systems

To assign a user to a new role across different systems:

  1. Log in as an organization owner and go to the System Management page.
  2. Click on "Assign System User" for the current system.
  3. Drag the user to the desired new role in a different system.
  4. The user's role will be updated in the target system.

Confirming User Role Updates

After you have updated a user's role:

  1. The role update process will be completed.
  2. A confirmation message will be displayed indicating that the user's role has been successfully updated.
