Notification Events are used to alert recipients about specific occurrences or statuses. The setup includes defining the notification title, recipients, subject, and message. This feature is essential for keeping stakeholders informed about important updates.

Configuring a Notification Event

Configure Notification Event

To set up a new notification event:

  1. Title: Enter a descriptive title for the notification.
  2. Receivers: Specify the recipients of the notification.
  3. Subject: Provide the subject line for the notification.
  4. Notification Message: Write the content of the notification message.

Steps:

  1. Alice Johnson is setting up a "Notification" event.
  2. Enter the following details:
    • Title: Database Backup Notification
    • Receivers: Sujan
    • Subject: Database Backup Completed
    • Notification Message: Database backup has been completed successfully.
  3. Save the configuration.

Outcome: The Notification event will be configured with the specified title, receivers, subject, and message.

Validate Notification Configuration

To ensure the notification event is configured correctly:
